Kellogg’s UK targets 100% renewable power by 2050

Kellogg’s UK has set a target to source 100% of its electricity needs from renewables by 2050.

The cereal and snacks giant has made the commitment as part of RE100, a collective of businesses working to significantly increase demand for and delivery of green power.

Its headquarters in Manchester was its first site to start buying 100% renewable energy last year.

Daine Holdorf, Chief Sustainability Officer said: “Joining RE100 gives Kellogg’s the opportunity to showcase our leadership on climate action.

“We hope to inspire others in our sector to follow our lead and do more to cut greenhouse gas emissions.”
