EBRD launches mobile app to help businesses find green technologies

EBRD launches mobile app to help businesses find green technologies

A new mobile app, which will help businesses and homeowners to find more than 18,000 green technologies has been launched by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The new app aims to provide the users with information about services that can help them with environmental issues and will offer solutions on how they can improve energy efficiency, increase the use of renewable energy, reduce water use and avoid soil erosion.

The new offering is also creating a marketplace, which makes green technologies more easily accessible - manufacturers and local businesses from around the world can submit their products.

Ksenia Brockman, EBRD Associate Director for Energy Efficiency and Climate Change, said: "The Tech Selector brings green technologies to the fingertips of businesses and homeowners wishing to cut their utility bills, increase their productivity and competitiveness and improve the comfort of their homes or premises."
